The Artists

Kaye Lister

Seafood Feast

Kaye Lister is an Australian illustrator and designer based in Canberra, known for her thoughtful, storytelling‑led work across illustration, graphic design and surface/textile design. She has built a diverse creative practice that spans fine art, visual communication and pattern work, always with a curiosity about how visual stories bring people together.

Her work draws on a deep appreciation for food, nature, everyday rituals and the small joys of lived experience, blending traditional media with digital technique to create pieces that feel warm, expressive and full of life.

For Seafood Feast, Kaye translated memory and motion into illustration; the clink of glasses, the scatter of lemons, the relaxed energy of a table gathered around food and laughter. Her design invites us to linger in familiar moments and creates a visual rhythm that feels at home on every table.

Ju Ferreira

Warm Weekends

Ju Ferreira is a Brazilian-Australian illustrator and designer whose work celebrates the beauty of the everyday. Blending playful imagination with a grounded warmth, Ju’s illustrations feel like familiar stories told in colour... comforting, surprising, and full of character.

Drawing from her Brazilian heritage, her creative upbringing, and years of practice across publishing and textile design, Ju brings a rich, layered sensibility to her art. Her style is distinctively textural and expressive, often centring on food, family, nature and home; themes that sit at the heart of Yousi.

For her Yousi design, Ju has translated long lazy lunches, nostalgic summers and warm weekends into hand-drawn moments: a flicker from the BBQ, a tilted hat, the shape of laughter. Her work captures the kind of slow, joy-filled moments we all want more of... the ones we return to again and again.
